AIDS Foundation Chicago Events
August Spree started as the Sr. Manager of Special Events for AFC in 2024. The first big project she took on was the AIDS Run & Walk with 2,000 participants taking over Soldier Field in Chicago. In April 2025, she produced their 40th anniversary gala with over 750 guests in attendance raising over $770,000. Smaller events for AFC include Windy City Times 30 Under 30 awards celebration, running beer tents at Pridefest and Market Fest, and others.
